Clontarf Aboriginal Academy:
The Clontarf Aboriginal College offers a range of educational programs providing varied learning opportunities for students from Year 7 to Year 12. They have a proud tradition of cultural, spiritual, academic, and sporting excellence. The pastoral care at the College enables a safe and caring environment where students can confidently grow to achieve their full potential. Belief in their motto ‘Learning for Life’ aims them to foster in the students the desire to make a difference in our world. Westmac work with Clontarf College to help provide Aboriginal youth with the opportunity to complete 55 or 110 hrs work experience over the course of a year. We currently have 2 students completing traineeships with us who have achieved outstanding results.
Newman College educates approximately 2500 students and exists to provide a co-educational learning centre for Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 students. They strive to animate their delivery of learning, teaching and wellbeing, as one which is innovative and creative. This is underpinned by contemporary and relevant pedagogy to inspire faith and learning within the community to Challenge, Collaborate, Create and Celebrate. Westmac have partnered with Newman and their Edge Program to providing work experience placements for students who are wanting to complete a trade after leaving school.
